I think in his commercial, he puts it as needing a "bridge" between being oil dependent and being oil independent. Hopefully he means that once we cross that bridge, the ultimate plan will be to be free of oil dependence. But that is realistically something that will take decades to do.

I'm still amazed at how much time you guys can spend throwing crap at eachother. It's even on the news here how you are more obsessed by smearing eachother rather than promoting your candidate...sure crap flies at election time here too, but nowhere near the extent you guys manage to produce....it's seems like it's all you can produce.

Good thing there at least is 1 that want to start some positive thinking, to bad most others just want to ruin it....

But honestly, few of those that post here consider me or my country as rolemodels for anything...you on the other and, do consider yourselves as world saviours and other nice stuff so it kinda gives you something to live up to, not me....I haven't claimed to save anything but my own butt You guys on the other hand have saved almost anyone, you claim, yet you let the world watch you quibble and smear while rolling their eyes....

Yup, but all we see now are people throwing crap at eachother...I have some priciples, 2 of which are: I don't talk trash about competition and I don't buy from salesmen talking trash about competition.

If they have anything worthwhile buying they will concentrate on selling their product, not degrading the competitors products. People that concrentrate on degrading competition obviously try to sell by being the lesser of 2 evils, that's not good enough for me.
Why not educate people on what is good about your product?

I'm sure, but it tends to overcloud any good side any candidate might have and kinda ressembles kids going "you're so stupid", "no you're so stupid", "well you are even more stupid" etc etc I think you know how it continues.....noone on that level will ever seem fit to be a prez to me....
