But, Lou is not a typical Liberal. There is plenty of typical liberals here that are gentleman and know what a rational conversation is.

He is way far left that puts him in a category of wacko screwball.

He did that to himself here by trying to convince us all in his strange self righteous ways of providing us all left wing wacko sources to support his beliefs. Those sources are lefty bogus, far from truth, and a high percentage of them are just plain fake. That has been proven here time and time again.

An observation here: Does anyone remember when there were rumors that John Kerry was thinking of choosing McCain as a running mate? All the press and the democrats were excited about this "maverick". He was their favorite Republican. He was willing to "cross the aisle and work with Democrats". He regularly snubbed his own party, conservatives in general, and was quite often on the opposite side of issues from the president. McCain had to come out and officially announce that he was remaining in the Republican party to quell these rumors.

Now that he is running for president, he is suddenly "McSame", voted 90% of the time with the president, and his election would be Bush's 3rd term.

Life must be difficult for these people whose world view and comprehension of reality has to change on a daily basis just to maintain their belief system.

Actually, I don't think the wacko sources support his beliefs, I believe the wacko sources form his beliefs in the first place.

See, he doesn't analyze things on the broader perspective, using filters to add a measure of rationality to both sides of the argument. Instead, he looks around for all this stuff, then when he reads it he becomes emotional and these sources become his reality.

So basically his perspective is not formed from experiences, rather by hype, overstated opinions, and rude hyperbole. In other words, he is just plain ignorant and totally annoying. In any normal "mixed company" setting, he would find himself unwelcome.

So he spouts his garbage here, as if doing so has some sort of impact, but of course it does not.

What? Now he is locked out? I guess the "mixed company" showed him the door.

There is no question Lou was/is a "fringe" guy.
He would latch on to anything that would support his opinions.
His "profession" was listed as "real estate".
I am guessing that the collapse of the industry sent him over the edge.
No one involved in the real estate business, in the USA, is coming out of this downturn clean.
It has hit everyone and hard. Many people adopted "lifestyles" during the boom from 2002-2007 that could not be supported with a normal market.
Based on the amount of time he spent here and his negative/angry attitude towards everything, I am guessing he is heavily in debt and going broke.
Good luck Lou, you're gonna need it.

I don't know why hell-bent liberals think it is cute to deliberately overstate or mis-state in order to provoke a reaction. Like Franken, they think it is funny. It's not, unless you are a frothing mouth liberal nut listening to Franken, then you think it is funny. Not too many of those thankfully and Franken has no audience (better reinstate the fairness doctrine so we can have as much Franken as Limbaugh).

It's not funny at all. It is pointless and stupid because it misses the challenge of substantively debating important topics, instead, reducing them to insults (daddy's boy, oil company profits, stipid idiot, lied about the war etc.).

Basically they have neither the intellect, nor the moral courage to address the real and difficult questions which have no easy answers.

For example, Biden voted for the war. He is a big muckey muck on the Senate Intel committee. How will he state he voted for the war only because Bush lied? Is that believable? Wasn't he knowledgeable enough on his own to make a correct decision? Lying puts you into a corner you cannot get out of without name calling and fit throwing. Biden is really good at cooking off and saying really stupid things. We can look forward to Biden and Obama Hopechange being spanked in the election.
