I do have to say this.

That poll chart that Lou posted about Obama being about 8 points ahead of McCain is accurate. He did that right.

But, that poll was taken the following morning after Obama's speech and before McCain's announcement of his VP pick hit the streets.

You know, the McCain bunch projected Obama to have a 15 point jump over McCain just after his convention. It did not reach that high. Their own projections were 6 points lower than expected. Thats because Obama shifted closer to the center left in his speech. In other words, the same old bash Bush rant that we have been hearing for years. Not much new there. A historic day, no doubt about that.

So, it no longer applies and those numbers are shifting very quickly more and more in favor of the McCain/Palin ticket..

Once again, you are wrong Dennis, that poll is showing a 3 day average. That doesnt really show the bump from the speech. ( A speech which will go down in history as one of the greatest)

Choosing Palin will not help Mac at all. She is unqualified and she has said so herself...

She is a big zero if not a negative for Mac.

McCain nearly failed from Annapolis finishing 894th out of 899 in his class, LOL

Biden has been in the Senate since he was 29, he is now in his mid 60's. he is more than prepared totake over should anything happen to Obama.

Palin has a degree in JOURNALISM and was a beauty queen who entered the Miss Alaska pagaent. She also admits she has no idea what a Vice President does.

...and this is the woman you Cons want to have ONE heartbeat away from the Presidency...

Hey Sissy Boy, She was a Mayor and a Governor, Obama won his first election to the Ill. State Senate by way of a technicality. Biden was forced to withdraw from his 88 bid for the Presidency because he plagiarized his speech from a British back bencher.

Obama is very qualified to be a lawyer, but he is sadly unqualified to be the CIC, Biden has already proven he is a fraud.

1st you always take things out of context and claim they mean something else.

2nd the power of the VP is solely decided by the President. They can have lots of power, or none at all.

Other than the line of succession, and the President of the Senate....They don't have any other "official" duties.

2. The vice president also serves as the President of the Senate, and may break tie votes in that chamber.
