What's the best way to setup a charging system? Currently I have alligator clips coming off the charger. I cut the ends off of an extension wire and exposed the ends. I then attach the alligator clips to the ends and the extension connector to the charger wire coming off the switch. Would it be better to rig up something directly to the charger instead of the alligator clips?

Yes, use Anderson Power Poles (APP) for everything!

I make up charge leads using APPs on one end and have the following on the other ends:

Aligator clips (large & small)
Deans Ultra Plug
Glo Igniter
Tamayia plug
JR TX/RX
Futata TX/RX
Cigarette lighter
Banana Plugs
DVM test leads

All leads are about 6" long.

Now coming off my chargers I have APPs or the leads the from the charger to APPs, thus my charge leads are compatible with any of my chargers. Now, any of the leads above can be used with my Alpha 4 or my Sirius chargers. Whenever I get a new charger I will only need to put APPs on the end of the charger leands and I can again use all the charge heads listed above. This makes an awesome setup.

Any battery, any where, any time, any charger.

Yeah, the APPs can get a little pricey, but by them in quantity, make the charge leads and you'll be set for a while.
