Oh for crying out loud, conservatives are every bit as capable as committing the same thing! Crimes are crimes, liberal or conservative. I'm neither, so the only reason I'm saying anything is that a) you ridicule liberals as though it's a bad thing to be.... Perhaps. But being a far right Conservative is just as bad!
I don't care what the crime is, or who commits it. They can be Liberal, Conservative, middle-of-the-road, or have absolutely ZERO political opinion. Fact of the matter is, he committed a crime. He was caught, he was convicted. Society is now a little bit better for not having that man on the streets.
Do I support him as a person for what he did? ABSOLUTELY NOT. Do I support liberal views?? Sure! ....that is, depending on the issue. Do I stereotype and label all liberals as pedophiles and child molesters? No. On the flip side, do I stereotype and label all CONSERVATIVES as bad shots who would shoot someone on a hunting trip with a shotgun? No.
If every liberal out there was a pedophile, we'd have some serious issues in this country. So yea. Perverted person? Yes. Perverted "libtard", as you so eloquently put it? Well, in my book, he forfeit any political affiliation the moment he chose to break the law.

There's a link showing a list of 46 Republicans who have committed crimes in the form of pedophilia, many of which include more than just trading child porn. Many of them actually PHYSICALLY MOLESTED kids! Does that mean that I feel all Republicans are pedophiles? I don't mean to post that link as a bash on Republicans. I mean to post it to show that people in BOTH political parties are capable of committing such crimes. After all, they are just people.
Bashing each other and mudslinging is EXACTLY what corrupt politicians want us to do. Because they know that while we bicker amongst ourselves about who's better than who, these guys get to commit crimes all across the board, often times unnoticed. It is one of the most basic diversionary tactics known to man, and so many average citizens play into it so blindly. Citizens, both liberal and conservative.
So instead of insulting, mudslinging, and muscle flexing trying to prove who's better, discuss. Debate. Do it with respect. That's the best, and most of the time, the ONLY way the CITIZENS of the United States of America will be able to make a difference. At the end of the day, it is the responsibility of the citizens as a whole to keep politicians in check. No one else. Our people divided into two distinct political parties isn't the problem, per se. The problem is that the people on either side of the fence simply refuse to listen to one another and work together by putting their heads together.
Blah. Rant over. All you guys on the extreme ends of the spectrum, either bugger off or take your blinders off. Yes you may be wrong, yes the other side may be right. But how will you ever know if you plug your ears and ignore what the other side has to say without hearing it or contemplating it? |
