Made a small hover after rebuild. When I sat the heli down the motor was smoking! Any advice as to what happened? Motor is now a gonner and when I plugged up to check controls the ESC initialized? Is it bad now too?

I don't fly the cp anymore but you can crash it for $100.00 I need stuff for the T-REX!!

Did you have to rebuild due to a crash? In a crash, if power is still applied and the rotors cannot turn then you can burn out a motor. You won't be any wiser of it until you try fo fly after repairs. Learn to rewind burnt motors. It adds a whole new dimension to the hobby.

Yep Tolla is was a rebuild. All checks made before flight. It was post flight as if the ESC was sending throttle when not applied. I've ordered another ESC & Motor. I don't have local support for helis. Learning on my own is pain but rewarding.

I don't fly the cp anymore but you can crash it for $100.00 I need stuff for the T-REX!!
