e-Align T-REX 250-450-500-600 > T-REX 600 Metal main blade grip end play. Can I shim?

Just for peace of mind I bought Align metal main blade grips for my 600e. When they are installed there is about 1/16" end play. If I can find a pair of thin washers that fit the spindle, is it okay to shim out the end play? Thanks, Rick

It sounds like you forgot to put something in the grips or grips and dampers.

I have 2 600e's and both all the metal upgrades with no slop at all. remove your metal grips and reinstall the stock ones if you still have slop you forgot something if you don't then return the metal grips for a new set as there may be a machining problem with that set.

Stock blade grips fit perfect. I am flying with them. I have tried the metal three times, same results. These grips are the black with Align on them. Is there a difference in grips for Nitro or E?

contact whoever you ordered them from if they are reputable they will exchange them for you. over the years I have received several parts that just wernt right. It like crashing its just part of the hobby
