What swash servo's are you using on your Trex 500? I am looking at a few different options and would like to hear what your using and how well they are working. The options so far are Futaba S9650 or S9257, Hitec HS-5245MG or the JR 3517MG. Are there any other servo's I should consider? Any info and opinions appreciated.

i just ordered the z3650mg they are a little cheaper and are the same as the ds3517mg. look up the specs on horizon.
hope this helps.
also the guys flying them here are all running the 3517

Can anyone give me info on the Hitec HS-5245MG servo's? The speed specs look about the same as the 9650 or the 9257, but they are metal gear and have more torque @ 6.0v

I believe the 5245s have had centering issues in the past. The 9650 and 9257 are good but the nylon gears really don't hold up well, even in slightly botched autos. You can get metal gears for these but it would probably be best if you could get your hands on some Z3650MGs.

everybody including me at my field have 5245mgs and there have been like 4-5 wrecks with them and no issues with the case so i think thats over... i would recommend them, besides the blue arm looks cool
