hi guys i am new to trex600n,i usualy fly the raptor series 903d ect.just got my self a trex sport,due to test fly and run it in tomoz,is there anything i should be aware off during run in or after.loved the easy assembly of this machine.heres my spec

t rex 600 sport
align 50 hyper
revolution 600 carbon blades
jr spec 821 cyclic
jr 821 throttle
gy 401+s9253 tail
2 in 1 reg 1900mah lipo
csm carb smart

Hmm, 821 servos are known to fail on heli's. I'd be careful there and possibly get better servos.

Otherwise, just go rich and easy on the engine starting with 2+ turns on the needle for the first 4-5 hovers. Then lean it out 1 click per flight until it's running like a champ.

Specific to belt driven heli's, keep a flight log of the quantity of flights and replace the belt after about every 50 flights (or more). You don't want your belt failing, so perform preventative maintenance.

cheers guys...on my other helis i have beed running 10 0 10 on idle.with this rex i am going to use 12 0 12 in idle 1,do they handle well to sharp pitch changes.is there any bogging at 12.

They handle up to 14+ 14- but with those 821s that will not last long. I would imagine after a few pops of the collective those servos would go out or with any 3D you will have major failures. They are recommended by the manufacture not to be used on 50 size helicopters.

yip ****e servos...i have just been looking at all the bad spec on these servos....i will leave them in just to run my engine in then taking the crap out......i cant run the risk of failure in 3d flight.thanks for all your advice guys....regards helinelly

wow,i have just been to my model club to test fly my rex600.ran 2 tanks threw her before the rain came...man what a heli i must have done my homework because i did not need to adjust anything.so stable with no vibes anywere......this is a breath of fresh air compared to my r90,,,,,,,cant wait for it to be ran in to open it up.......kind regards helinelly

second flight out

hi guys i did my second test flight last night,put another 2 tanks threw the engine,i was itching just to do a flip or a roll but left it,4 tanks now,can i fly 3d after 4 tanks or would you advise 6 tanks.kind regards helinelly

You are better off running it pig rich and fight with keeping it running than too lean. Especially for break in.
