| Well, my parts finally came in for the 4#3. I pulled the old, over modified headworks off, and put on the new alum version (comes standard with the 4#3b v2).
I've only got two flights on it with the new head works, but there is a definite improvement in some areas. It's a LOT smoother now. But it's also a lot more positive on the controls.
It's better, but it's like having to learn to fly it all over again.
Still though, it's nice to have my office flier back, I've missed it.
For the micro freaks out there. Looks like Align is about ready to release their 250 T-Rex. Should be a good scaled down copy of the 450, and just as over priced. Like the Gaui, and the SJM though, it's a CP with the same high head speeds. That makes them a hazard in the house.
I'm waiting for Esky to come out with a 200mm rotor FP. The Walkera is gaining popularity, especially now with the much improved head design. It's time for Esky to join in. Picture a half sized Honeybee FP.
Good indoor flier.
Helicopters don't fly, they beat the air into submission. |
