Im not a FPS guy at all. the closest thing ive even played was army men on PS1 but since i build gaming computers i figured id pic it up just for some in game shots and video for when trying to sell the systems and of course i had to play it to do this. I went from not playing these games to beating the game in about 5 days (no not non stop) I cannot believe the graphics in this game and the amount of interactiveness (is that a word?) the computer i used plays it easily at the highest settings. I beat it about a month ago but i still load it up from time to time if i want to let some agression out. anyway for those that have played it and dont know the sequel will be out in september and i believe i will be picking it up. heres a link http://www.crytek.com/news/news/?tx...Hash=0cbb148a6b

Thanks for the link.

Even after beating it you can go back through the levels and try different things, like killing the enemy with your hands only, battling from rooftops as much as possible, all sorts of different things.

Some things in that game just creeped me out too. Like the Koreans in the nanosuits, and the guys with the mini-guns. Hated the VTOL level.

Great game if you've got the machine to run it on.

I'm running the E8400 Wolfdale duo core at 3gig with only 2 gig of RAM. Can't remember what vid card as my brother is constantly upgrading and doing stuff to my machine. Crysis runs great and was designed around that CPU.

I've never been able to pick up a dead guy, only kick them off of objects. Like if they land on a rifle.

First FPS game I've ever taken an interest in and have enjoyed it a lot.

how do you kick? never did that.. I just recently found out you can pick up a tree top after you shoot it down and carry it around in front of you to conceal yourself kinda like cloak mode..

Sorry, maybe kick is the wrong term. It's probably more like walking into the object and continuing to walk thus "bumping" it along. Maybe there is a way to kick, but I haven't found it yet.

That's cool about the tree tops. I found most of the things I know about by watching the intro movie.

I tried the demo for PC and I just couldn't get into it. I guess I'm spoiled with call of duty 4

No problems with vista 64 bit? I just got a new system AMD quad core 2.5ghz 6gb ram 9800GT 512mb video. Im not sure about Vista. Had some problems installing the crysis demo and never really got it to work right.

Just wondering if anyone has had problems with 64 bit.
