hi all ,was thinking of taking out the old cyclic servos which are jr 591, and replacing them with jr ds 811 servos ,im not sure if this would make a big differance ,maybe they would centre better ,my goal is to flip quicker and roll quicker, also to mention i have added ultra light paddles ,any suggestions ,thanx

According to JR's website, the DS811's are rated for 30 size heli's.
I'm not sure, but I believe I've read on RR, not to use them on a 50 size machine.

DS811 will be ok. DS821 are the ones to avoid.

Good blade(like rotor tech 610mm), decent headspeed and stiff dampers are probably what you can do to increase your flip and roll rate. 7degree of elevator input is 7degree of elevator input and will only flip as fast as 7degree of elevator input, regardless of having 0.1s servos or 0.21s servos. The difference is the more "connected" feel and faster response to changes with better servos.

If you are really looking for servo upgrades, take a look at the hitec 79xx series or the futaba BLS series.

thanx for your reply ,according to a lot of pilots ds 811 should be fine and is pretty good for a 50 size machine ,this guy does 3d with the ds 811 set up, and has the ccpm set up with trex 600,so im sure it will be fine ,will take your advice on getting better dampers thanx
