When do you guys change your head dampners. Im staerting to get some flutter when I do hard turns. The blades are tracking very well; dont no whats causing the flutter.

It depends on what you have now and how hard you fly. I would check yours if warn, replace them.

Running the red dampners and there is some shaking when I land and power down to below half throttle. When I lower the throttle all the way down the shaking stops.

shaking

that sounds like a throttle curve problem but doesnt explain the flutter. heli is right check your dampers and if they look solid then grease em but if they look worn then its best to relace them

How high does it go? How fast does it go? Huh huh huh huh???!!!!

I think it's the dampeners, while you have them out, might as well check your spindle and bearings.

Don't be so fast to blame the red dampers...
Often a vibration below half throttle can be a sign of blades being out of balance! I would suggest you check you blade balance first!
What type of balance method are you using? Wood or C/F blades?
All of this can come into play in finding the source of the problem!
I would address the Blade balance, Look at the flybar and the paddles, make sure they are equal distance before you address the dampener's...
UNLESS you have been using oil on the dampener's, Oil is a decaying agent on rubber and it will make them soft...
So, look at your balance on blades, check flybar to paddle measurements!
Then go after the dampeners, Reds have a durometer of 80 and that is some pretty strong rubber unless you throw psycho 3D or oil them!
Check it out.....

I use silicon oil on the dampers - doesn't attack the rubber (Raptor 30 V1 : black dampers only)
