| Well the answer is simple, I have 2 450s now and don't need 2. If I am going to have 3 helis, they will all be totally different. As for a 500, IF I do it ... it will either be a Protos or a T500. Both are the same price but I probably won't buy one new. I missed out on a super deal on a Protos the other day cause I didn't have the money. So I am going to sit back and watch closely.
The reason for selling the Mini vs the Rex is also simple. I really like both but for different reasons. So far I like the way the Rex flies better. Plus it is a little easier on batteries and parts are semi-local. These are all pluses that made me decide to keep it over the Mini. That said, man the Rex is a total PITA to work on! But that will always be something the Mini does much better. It is a hard decision but one that I believe will be for the best as time goes on.
Oh and Doug, the 500s are not that expensive. Aside from the $500 kit cost, $200 charger, $250 worth of servos ... batteries are not bad at all
