Hey I was planning on buying 5 of s3004 for standard airplane application but Futaba has flight packs that save you $$$ and the one I am interested in comes with s3001 servos instead.

I compared the specs for both servos and s3004 is the winner at almost every aspect (transit time, torq, weight etc.)
Futaba says they both are standard servos with ball bearing and plastic gears...
But when it comes to price; s3001 is about $20 and s3004 is $14

This is weird!..

Can someone tell me about these two servos please?

Thanks

You wont tell that much difference if you're going cheap. If you were comparing those and 9252's or a set of hitec digitals, then you might see a big difference.

I am very sure the real difference is very insignificant. What confused me is that the one with better specs(s3004) is cheaper
