Just curious as to how those of you, who are using the Flightpower 2100 RX battery with the double leads, how would I connect both of these to a AR7100 Receiver? Sounds elementary, but I don't understand really what the deal is with the double leads. How to setup?

The extra one is for checking battery levels after each flight, it doesn't plug into anything. They are both the same.

You can use either of the leads and one or both if you like. Both leads connected to your receiver (via a reg or whatever) will allow you to draw a higher current from the pack as you have doubled up on the leads leaving your servos much more consistent under load.

Comnes down to personal preference and flying style, but the single lead will be fine in most instances. I use both, plugged into my receiver via a Flightech 8amp reg which also has double lead input/output. It also adds redundancy into the system where the leads are concerned.

If you are connecting to a regulator like the Duralite Regulator or the Align 2in1 you only use one of the battery connections and you can use the other for charging.

If you are using the new Flightpower/Flight Tech regulator you can use both connections from the battery. What the Flighttech regulator has is two inputs from the battery and also has two outputs so you can have two power inputs into your receiver.

Hope this helps

Thanks for the input fellas!

I was thinking about just running the battery directly in to the receiver and using standard deans ultra plugs to connect. The other would be just a spare.

I like the idea of redundancy with the flightpower regulator. When I fly Gas Planes, I use dual battery/switch setups into a bat share device where if one battery/switch failed, the other would take over. Only thing here, is if something happened to the physicial battery, I don't understand what even a second plug out of it would serve. It appears to have only 2 cells. I would think it should have 4 cells with 2 seperate. What do you think?
