Hi,

I am looking at a new RX batteri for my Evo 90. My LHS suggested the new Iron Corps batteries from Fromeco. But on Fromeco's web page I found the following text :

"Like the "A123™" Iron Corps cells can NOT be effectively load checked using the same techniques used to check capacity on Lithium Ion Cells, in other words an 8Ball will not work."

How do you test/monitor the Voltage when you can't use the 8Ball ??

Regards

From a fully charged battery do 2 flights and recharge. Note the milliamps put back in. This will give you an average ma per flight used. If plenty of capacity is still left do next round with 1 additional flight. Keep doing this. When the number of flights approaches 75% of capacity you'll know how many flights are safe.
