So I was out flying my blade above the rooftop garden where I live, I was pushing it pretty hard with 2200/25-30c batts tic toc'ing when the power just went...
I think the servos had power, although I tried to auto there was so little headspeed after getting level I wouldnt have felt a response

The heli came out rather well, just blades, featherin spindle, flybar, main shaft and a couple of servo sets.

I was really just wondering though if this was the work of the esc, it was pretty warm and i think i may have overloaded it or something

has anyone else managed to do this on the stock ESC or anything?

Skatefreak, Yep, My friend has a B400 with the stock ESC and when pushing it pretty hard the stock ESC sometimes goes into "thermal shutdown" The headspeed cuts in half-- luckily there is still enough power to get it back to the ground in one piece(sometimes). I think the 25 amp ESC is just barely enough for the Blade. I would try a 35 amp ESC and/ or a separate BEC, it might reduce the load on the ESC.

I had the same problem. Went out and installed an Align 35amp ESC and no more issues.
