Hi, does anyone know how to remove the tank on Airskipper 90? Without splitting the frames?

Hi Bjarte

I'm afraid that you have remove the skids and the lower metal angle
braces on both sides. Then either loosen or remove the M3 screws on one side of the lower frames from the motor mount to the rear. Finally unscrew and remove the 4 rubber tank supports using a pair of long nose pliers from underneath and an M3 driver.

You should then be able to spread the frames enough to get the tank out.

I've tried some other methods, but this is the only one that works.

Hope this helps

Guys

Sorry nether worked on an AS90, but assuming its the same as the Venture 90 & Sylphide then just undo the rubber mounts on one side the frame (non exhaust side is always easier!) and then squeeze the tank past the rubber mounts on the other side...

When re-installing the tank put the rubber mounts in the pockets in the tank and again squeeze the tank back into the frames and use long nose pliers to hold the rubber mounts when putting the bolts back into place.
