Will standard Futaba servos work in it or do they need to be smaller or micro servos?

It also says it needs 3s batteries but not the mhz or anyting else.

Using this info to decide between a Mini Titan with a Cobra body or going to a TT Titan 50 and a Eucuriel (sp?).

the mini titan is a small electric that requires micro servos. I use 2200mah 3s battery packs and get around 6 to 8 minutes flying time.

I say get both the mini titan with cobra body and a titan 50 with Ecureuil fuse on it.

Man, I miss the eighties.

The MiniT uses small servos like the HS65mg that are probably the most popular.

You are comparing oranges and basketballs.

Don't get me wrong. I want to get both, but with gas the way it is I'm wondering if I'ld do better to get the Mini Titan and Cobra body and learn more on that then get the Raptor 50 after gas settles down after awhile. It's just how much more I have to buy for the Mini as I already have the new radio and engine for the Raptor.

Learning To Fly???????????

Are you going to be using one of these machines to learn to fly??? If so, don't bother putting a fuselage on either one.... it will look great, but during the learning process it is just a LOT more work to maintain the heli and more "stuff" to break when you slap a landing!!!!!!!
Just a thought from reading you post and profile!!!!

Good Luck, Stan

If there is a cure for this, please don't tell me about it!!!

Well I wasn't going to slap a fuse on right a way. I was just looking at the "Big picture" I don't have alot of time to work on a scale so it would take me awhile before I could get one so while I got better I'ld work on the fuse then put it on in a year or so. I have been "learning" on a AxeCP and working the sim and finising out on those two "down the road" I'm just an over analytical kind of guy and am thinking aloud and trying to educate myself the best I can. Maybe even "learn" from some of y'alls mistakes. LOL

Learn From Our Mistakes!!!!!!!!!!!!!????????????

Now you don't think we have EVER really made a mistake, do you????LMAO

Nothing wrong with what you are thinking of then... and flying the mechanics and getting them working right prior to installing them in a fuselage is ALWAYS the best way if you can....
The 50 size is going to be your most stable platform, but sometimes the size is a bit intimidating to some.... so maybe going to the Mini would not be a bad transition to a lot more maneuverable heli and it will look good in that fuse!!!! (I have one sitting that I will probably get too in the fall for our indoor flying!!!!)

Good Luck, Stan

Gas?

Gas might drop into the mid $3.00's for a while but it will never settle down completly. TOO many fingers in the pot more than willing to use any excuse possible to raise prices/profits. Remember when oil first went to $100 a barrel? That jump was caused by just 1 Oil Futures Speculator on a whim to see if it could be done. The lowest oil will get will be around $105 USD and that will only be for a few months.

if you wait on gas prices to settle, we'll probably all be flying those nuclear ufo's by then.
