Gasser Model RC Helicopters > Help air star Evolution or Mongoose or other?

Just finish with the tough radio upgrade decision now here comes the heli fever. This will be my first gasser heli and will be intended for AP works when my skills with presicion flight will improve.

Looking on both model one major difference I'd noticed is the fuel tank location. This makes me choose the Mongoose over the Evolution because when the heli will be intended for AP flight the fuel tank of Evolution needs to be placed below the engine. Can I install the Evolution receiver tray to Mongoose without any issue that will arise in terms of heli balance and canopy fitting?

Do you have any other preference?

The only thing that is missing on this heli is the push-pull linkages of CCPM. Alhough a powerfull servo can do the job but still I prefer the push-pull config.

Any inputs would be highly appreciated.

Many Thanks!

for AP the mongoose would be the better choice, there is a camera mount designed specifically for it. If you ever want to do a scale machine thats the only reason to go with the evolution.

For AP, you might also consider the new evolution electric, flight time is less than gas, but smooth as a turbine without the turbine pricetag.

Oh and on the push pull thing, these machines are using 4 servo CCPM, never less than 2 servos taking any load, and 4 for the pitch, my particular machine probably has more than 150 hours on it since it started its life as a flight school machine, with the same servos on the cyclic. I'm thinking about changing them out soon after reading that Raja believes they fail at about 200 hours. And I've killed analogue servos in far less time at work.
