| for AP the mongoose would be the better choice, there is a camera mount designed specifically for it. If you ever want to do a scale machine thats the only reason to go with the evolution.
For AP, you might also consider the new evolution electric, flight time is less than gas, but smooth as a turbine without the turbine pricetag.
Oh and on the push pull thing, these machines are using 4 servo CCPM, never less than 2 servos taking any load, and 4 for the pitch, my particular machine probably has more than 150 hours on it since it started its life as a flight school machine, with the same servos on the cyclic. I'm thinking about changing them out soon after reading that Raja believes they fail at about 200 hours. And I've killed analogue servos in far less time at work. |
