HiTec servos

I went out yesterday and bought 3x HiTec HS65-HDs and 1x HiTec HS81-MG to replace my old stock servos that were in it. They seem to be working much better and are tons more responsive and sensitive. Probably one of the best upgrades i've made in the 3 weeks I've been flying my Blade. I should hopefully be posting some pics soon. Just trying to find my stupid Camera cord. arg!

Has anyone upgraded a blade 400 with the aluminum replacements / upgrades? Does it perform any better? Has anyone been able to find a main rotar gear (goes under the Main Gear at bottom of Main Shaft)? I've only been able to find the main gear, not the rotar. THanks!!

The servos will help out allot, but most of the upgrades are bling what are you planning to buy for it? I would save and buy a 50 size ship. Thats the best mod another heli! You are looking for the tail drive gear. http://www.horizonhobby.com/Product...ProdID=EFLH1453

The main rotor gear is on the top the tail drive gear is on the bottom.

Aluminum tail gear

Thanks for that link, but I meant an aluminum main tail gear, not the plastic (stock) one. There is an aluminum main gear, but no coinciding tail gear that fits beneath it. That is what i'm looking for.

I don't think they make one because somthing must give if somthing happens.

Good point. I guess they would have to still have a stress point for the force to be exerted thru if it goes !*CRASH*!. but if i get reinforced parts for everything else, I guess replacing one gear isn't too bad at all.
