Hi All

the Cork Model Aero Club will be holding the annual heli hoverin on Sunday the 10th of August at our club site in Brinny Bandon Co Cork Ireland.
Flying is off the peg from approx 11am.
Tea Coffee & a BBQ will be on site through the day.
Current MACI insurance will be required for pilots to fly
All are welcome

Bill, dont use them night blades of his, they are designed for a 10 cell lipo, and that is only for the blades!!!
Come to CHS for reliable night blades.

weather update

for all those who are travelling the forcast as of 8am is sunshine and the odd shower will be a little breezy but you cant have everything. i will post a final update later this evening

just a quick note on how the event went. in total we had 20 pilots, which was the largest attendance for our event. i would like to take this chance to thank everyone who helped with organisation on the day you know who you are. I also would like to thank everyone who attended and to the brave souls that flew, the weather didnt quite play its part but i think everyone enjoyed the flying. Thanks for your support

Hi Guys,


Sorry I couldn't make it down over the weekend, between helping out at the Irish f3a Nationals in Galway and work I had a busy weekend I hear it was an enjoyable day, well done to all the Cork lads

I'm hoping to see you all at Heli Challenge Round 2 In Midlands club on the 30th August and the Irish Helicopter Nationals on the 20/21st September in Carron Tipperary.

John, Philip, Sylvester, Brendan & Myself are heading off to IRCHA on Wednesday morning for a week of flying,and really looking forward to it,
