Miniature Aircraft Nitro/Gas Helicopters > Servo Selection for Fury Extreme

I am trying to select the best choice for servos for a fury extreme I am putting together. I am not looking for the best, most expensive, but rather a middle of the road. I have a futaba system GY401, and GV-1. Do I need all digital servos or just the rudder? Please provide the recommend model number for each rudder, swash, throttle, etc. Thanks

servos

The futaba 9252 are good all rounders

the 401 needs a specific servo not sure of the number off hand but a hobby shop will know which one

9452s for cyclic, 3151 for throttle and a 9254 for the 401.

the 9452 are better servos in my opinion for the same price as the 9252

Middle of the road, 9252s or 9255s are pretty damned good!

Is the S3151 recommended by Funky Trex appropriate for a GV-1, based on the specs it seems pretty slow 0.21 sec/60 degrees at 4.8V

I'd suggest 9252 on the throttle as well.

The 3151 works great on 6 volts as a throttle servo. However, at 5.2 volts it doesn't seem to work nearly as well. On my helis running 5.2 volts for the throttle channel, I use the 9252 or 9452.
