It's me again guys.
I hit another problem today...

My heli was working like a clogged throttle body on a Chevy (no offense to anybody). So I tried to find the problem part. First changed the ESC, nope that wasn't it.

Today I changed the BL motor (Esky 3900 kv, same as the previous one) & changed the main gear on the way to wrap it up.
Now when I power it up, tail servo moves a little for a second.. That's it... Nothing.. nada.. no power is going into any servos or gyro.. Didn't plug in the motor just in case. New ESC warms up veeeery little. (Well this was the third ESC I tried.)..
Only once all swash servos moved to the limits for a second & that was it.

So what could be the problem?.. I am open to any ideas since I got mad last 3 hours trying to figure out what is going on...

Thanks

I tried Esky & dynam. I don't have much choices on The part of the world I live in but use whatever I can find.

Try this test. Disconnect everything from the Rx except the throttle and one servo. Also disconnect the motor from the ESC. Power up and see if that one servo moves. Report the results along with the list of your components.

Thanks Gregor..

I tried that one too... I tried every single swash servo in every channel one by one along with ESC plugged in & motor unmounted to the ESC. I tried it again after your post. Nothing. no Power..

Components:

King 2,
Esky 3900 kv BL motor,
Esky 25A BL ESC (tried Dynam 30A too)
Esky 8 g analog swash servos,
Gy240 gyro & S3110 tail servo
Stock Tx & Rx
Xtreme Carbon frame
The rest is stock..

Just to confirm, the only problem you had before the motor replacement was the original motor kept cutting out? The issues with the servos started after the new motor was installed. Correct?

Yep. That's right.
But the funny thing is I didn't plug the new motor ever...

I just went thru the same problem. Changed batteries (they were all the same brand/age) and changed motors to no change. Changed the ESC, went from a Dynam to a Castle, and problem went away. Haven't tried the Dynam in anything else as someone said it's possible that it re-programmed itself. I don't buy that but it's worth a try.
Hope this helps.

I had the same problem, turned out to be bad wiring in the tail servo. There was a short internally and was killing the whole heli. Make sure that when you try Gregor's test repeat it with another servo in case by chance you chose a "bad" servo for the testing.

You might also try a new Rx as I once had a fried Rx kill several servos.

I just don't belive it!!!! I tried it again. All of a sudden everything worked fine!!!.. But still don't get it though why this happened.

But the bigger issue is stille there. New motor & ESC but I still get the cut offs. Any ideas on this issue?

Again thanks guys for all your inputs...

The only thing I didn't try is the Rx & Tx, on the cut-off issue.. :P

Sound like a loose wire some where. Or worse a bad solder joint. Those can be hard to find. If that is the case, the issue will return.

Regarding the motor cutoff. Does it only happen on spool up or during flight?

I accidentally reprogram a ESC into 2S mode and it turn it self off after motor spin for a few sec.
Throttle was way up when power is on then, oh! then put the throttle down, ESC is reprogrammed.

Hate to say it, but Brad could be right. However it could also be an issue with the Tx. Perhaps a dirty pot on the left stick. For the stock electronics I would hesitate to replace the Rx. If it were me I'd step to a Spektrum or FAAST system.

First, I'd check the ESC programming Tag suggests. Then put a voltmeter on the RX to check the BEC voltage. Should be around 4.8v.
