| I understand 17,000rpm to be a good speed for this engine from what I have heard. assuming your evo 50 uses the stock 8.7:1 gear ratio that would be around 1950.
you could probably push it to 2000rpm if you really need it which would push the engine rpm forward to 17,400 which would probably be a little taxing.
Not an engine expert, perhaps one will chime in, just wanted to give you a rough idea since you don't have any replies yet. best of luck!
