Woo Hooooo - the most successful maiden ever!

Fun Fun Fun!!!

So that's why everybody flies these 90s!

Tracking was perfect, there was no noticable vibration in the heli or in the tail, the engine fired to life immediately (well - as soon as I remembered to undo the fuel clamp), the gyro was locked in solid, and this thing just wanted to fly.

After the first flight the only thing I did was richen the mid and high needles two clicks, I shortened the tail control rod one turn to eliminate the tiny tiny bit of drift in rate mode, and I had to lower the throttle curve in normal mode to reduce the headspeed. Other than that, I felt right at home with her.

On the second flight, she felt so dialed in that I took her down on the deck with an inverted hover. She was solid.

The biggest thing I noticed about flying a 700 over a 600 was smoothness. This thing is rock solid and smoooooooth!

I'm running her rich for break-in, and at this point I don't think she is significantly more powerfull than my 600. But the fact that she feels about the same, and it's not even broken in, says a lot. I can't wait until I can lean her out and open her up!

I had so much fun with her today, I got 5 flights on her, and the poor 600 just sat on the bench in the corner and didn't get any attention.

Next time I'll fly them both so I can get some back to back flying for a comparison.

Sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet! They've got a winner here!

I got a helicopter for my girlfriend,
It was a good trade!

Woo Hoooooooooo.....................

Here she is in her first inverted hover. Sorry about the low-res phone camera shot... But hey, hovering inverted and trying to snap a picture at the same time is really difficult!

Nice. Yea you need to tighten those needles a little more and then you wont even bother putting the 600 in the car. Sorry.. but thats the truth. I keep contemplating if I should sell my 600. :|
