Yeah it was time no more pimpin the purple on a scale heli. I posted a new topic of all the home remedies. The oven cleaner popped up a few times. Why cause it freakin works now I heard all the horror stories dont leave it in too long or it will pit. So I thought HMMMM I know I go to the dollar store and get a can of oven cleaner knowing for a $1 it wont be as good as easyoff or other name brand. I was right I put the part in a plastic cup and swashed it around the purple anodize just really rinses off after 30 seconds or so. remove part rinse with soap and water. Now some pieces will have a better shine than others well this is where you can polish them to a chrome polish with a automotive mag wheel paste cleaner. Since Im going for scale Im just gonna let the aluminum oxidize and turn its natural brushed grey.

When I saw the title, I thought you and gone some other head. I know you feel about the Esky CNC stuff, especially the lack of a flybar cage.

It's looking great, can't wait to see the finished product. Are you using the same fuse, or doing a new one?

Oh, that's very nice and quit tempting. I'll be watching your build to see how it goes. Is that styrofoam? How strong is it?

If silver is what you want, this might be better than Purple+Oven Cleaner. Image is hyperlinked.

Micro heli?

What you think I'm made of money?
That is an option but Ill have to decide whether the cost is worth it since I still have a full can of cheap oven cleaner.

I just put a little heat from a torch to it. Came off in like 5 seconds. Im really not sure it was anodized though. It was the sonics brand aluminum head parts.

We need video proof around here.
