Is the T-Rex SE V2 main shaft the same as previous versions. Are they made of the same material, the same length etc?

I have got a few XL/SE ones lying around and was wondering if it is possble to use them on my SE V2.

I have used the old style on my V2 with no problems. I think they are all the same.
