I decided to go with another Trex,, so I ordered me a 500.
Couldn't afford the Jazz & Medusa motor yet, but miss the Ease of E-heli's compared to Nitro.
Don't get me wrong,, I love my 50 but miss out on fly'n due to area & Nitro BS, ya know, bearings,pistons,rings,sleves,clutches,fans,starter shafts,clutchbells,starters,fuel filters,fuel hose,muflers,glow plugs,governors & sensors,onboard glow ignitors,carbs & fuel pumps.
Whewwww, now I feel better!!

and one more thing "DON'T BE AFRAID!"

Electric flight is great for some of us that are not true aficionado's of the sport, we just want to go out and fly and go home. I like to step out in front of my house, plug in a battery and fly around for awhile, get done put the battery on the charger and do other things.

I don't think you have to be an "afficionado" to appreciate e-helis. I actually started with e-helis and then went to Nitro. I love flying both and for different reasons. During the week, electric helis offers me no-nonsense flying on my lunch break. On weekends, I fly my nitro helis, which give me other things to tinker with, such as carb settings, cleaning the heli from all the nitro (I kind of like that too). Plus, when you're at the field with others, you take your turns flying so there are things to do with nitro helis that helps pass the time. Plus if you're taking turns flying at the field, you want a longer flight time, which nitro helis will give you.

Oh, you'll love that 500! One of my favorite helis.

IM the same love taking my 600e for a couple quick flight at lunch sold my 500 wish i kept it liked it more than my 600e
