Reversed throttle channel and did nothing. Looked down and throttle hold is on. Did't have that feature on the other tx. The throttle did need to be reversed. Thanks again Fender.
Gonna try and fly this thing.

Thanks

Everything looks to be ok. Just needs some fine tuning.
The wind is gusting pretty strong right now so it's just a waitin game.

But with Finless Fender, who needs F****ss B**?

Careful. Certain people's names are mud around here. For reasons which will not be discussed here, but are easily found by searching elsewhere, this video guy you mentioned is commonly referred to as "He Who Shall Not Be Named" here. And referring someone to the videos at the "freaky" site is questionable.

I agree with you; however, the powers-in-charge here have some very bad blood with the video guy.

Pumping your fist and yelling, "COME ON!!!" does not increase battery charge rate.

Thanks MMIKE looked around over there but didn't have any luck. I'll be sure to check them out as alot of people seem to reference them.
I gotta say that the only place I really found some solid info was here in the Esky forum. Alot of my questions were answered or got me headed in the right direction right here, and to think this isn't the spectrum forum. It goes to show ya the info and the people willing to help others out.
I think my next issue to tackle will be the gyro setting. It's just another obstacle to overcome in this great hobby.

BTW is a Finless Fender the same as a Fretless Bass

Thanks Everyone

Wiki-Wiki: is a Finless Fender the same as a Fretless Bass

Not quite, but having a fretless bass and a small collection of helis, I can say they're both equally difficult to handle properly.

And they both get strange stares and senseless comments from lay people.

Helis:
"How high's it go?"
"Did you build it yourself?"
"That doesn't look too hard."
Fretless bass:
"Where's those silver things?"
"Why's it sound different?"
"I bet that's easier to play than a normal one."<- That one kills me
"What's the point? I couldn't hear you in the crowd anyway."<- Usually from fellow bass players in the audience.

Pumping your fist and yelling, "COME ON!!!" does not increase battery charge rate.

you need to correspond with my former bass player, you could hear him from 1000 ft and feel it from about 500,literally, you could feel it in your chest if he laid into a note

on the heli list you forgot the old favorite...how much did it cost?

and if its a young kid..."can I try?"........sure!! take my heli that spins at 2500rpm's that took me about a month to learn to do a 30 sec hover...go for it

the only thing I see wrong with the R/C oprah vids is its a great idea in theory and a great starting point but people dont taketime to learn the how's and why's so when they get to the field without a PC they are lost....I've seen countless posts when people respond to questions with "I dont know,he did it like that in the video"if you learn how and why you will never need the video or the manual again, and you will be able to program a new model in about 10-15 min,his intentions are right, people dont follow through, they want to be in the air, NOW
