Woah! after all those time flying around today I started around 1pm with 6 packs of batteries. Now it's 7pm and after about 12 packs of batteries feels like flying the king is like 2nd nature. Extremely comfortable with the setup and the way its handle for the first time.

Working on Circles but I'm scared to crash it. I'm scared of temporary nose in part. May be after a few more packs.

Too bad my night light driver burnt up last night.

That was always the hardest part, when that nose comes around,You just have to hold those sticks, while she comes around. For that second no movement in the sticks untill she's around and is side in or tail in then your in your comfort zone again.keep doing those circles though

Yep, When your nose-in KEEP moving forward and get to your comfart zone--Don't stop yet, keep moving forward in a circle. Then gradually slow the circle down till you are- Nose-in undercontrol

I hear ya. I've been doing toolman piros, circles and eights for a while. But there's still a twinge in my stomach just as the nose is coming around. I can nose-in hover land and take off all day. But something about that side-in to nose-in transition with forward motion that still gets to me. Its odd that it never happens during the toolman piros, only circles and eights in one direction. Only one cure for that.

Yeah but dont ever get comfortable thats when you end up buying more parts. I just finished flying due to concrete I was practicing nosein takeoff and landings did one whole pack started on the second about 10-15 sets of T/L and then look over my shoulder dumb thumb now off to buy parts.

Agreed. Also never take your eyes off that thing. Sorry to hear about parts order.

As for the nose coming around thing, I'm getting a little impatient with my progress. Mostly because I'm ready to move on and getting tired of going back to square one with some skills. I'm committed to getting UPRIGHT down pat before moving on. I lost a lot of flying time in late June so I'm further behind than I wanted to be by now.

Oh, well!
I crashed while trying to save from hitting the building. Lost both blades, gears and a servo. Good thing cheap $6.00 blades and $4.00 servo so not that bad.

You dont have to put that much pressure on yourself. I quit doing the piros. I dont want to fly in the garage anymore. I guess thats why ive been flying the big guy. The wind here is terrible. Its the only thing i can fly outside anymore. If the wind dies ill grab the MT and the big guy.

Helis are supposed to be fun so im not pushing myself with deadlines. Just having fun and pushing myself a little.

Dont wait for me. Ill get there when i get there
