Is there any way that y'all have found to get more cyclic response? I'm pulling 9 degrees right now and I would think that it would have more authourity than it does... Aside from being an awesome pilot, how does Szabo's 500 hoave so much response?

I have 2 500's and both are blinding fast, aprox 11 deg. what is your HS I'm running 6S at 2900 mudasa 1600 13T and 8S @ 3100 Neu 1905 1.5Y 12T Both are blinding fast they were fast with the stock motor on 6S 13T 100% throttle @ 11 deg. All have stock fly bar and paddles.Using extra long heavy duty JR arms and long Quick UK alu. long arms.Maxamps 3000mh 6S pack and 2X TP 2200 4S packs JR Z3650's on 6V with a 7703D and a 8900G with a step down reg on the servo.

R38133... see the other thread on cyclic. If you have any video of some stationary flips that would be great.
Stock everything with a 6s 2500 flightpower pack and a 13t pinion, running 100% across the curve. Approx. 2700 rpm. I did try these new Performance Plus 33C batteries and they gave me an extra 200-300 rpm and that did speed up the cyclic quite a bit, so that may be it.
Any other ideas out there?

Here is an idea of how slow the cyclics are. I also flew another stock 500 at the field with the same results.
At 200 feet as I enter a death spiral I can only complete one full revolution before I have to bail out.
I have no expo and in my swash mix menu I'm at around 85% on Ail and Elev giving me about 9 degrees.

I was happy with 10 degrees and no expo. and the White colored paddles with the supports cut off to lighten them up. But i also run 3100HS. YOu dont need to have crazy fast cyclic. YOu just need to learn how to use it properly. I had the chance to fly some Pros set up. and i was amazed to find out that they dont have blinding fast roll rate. But they sure make it look like they do.

Blbills, are you using the 13T pinion? If so try more cyclic pitch, you should be able to get plenty, I use longer servo arms around 17.5mm.

I may have to go with longer servo horns. In my swash mix I'm at 100% on both elev and aile and I'm still not binding. It is pulling around 9 degrees though. You'd think that should be ample.
If I do decide to go with a londer servo arm, do you think the 9257 can handle the torque?

DID you Max out the ATV(end point)? That will also give you more swash.
