Chuck,

You are correct, 80HV is the highest right now, the 100 is only available as a LV model right now.

I ran a CC 85HV with fixed endpoints and it worked pretty well. I could never stop the tail kick with the CC gov so I think your idea of using an external gov is best.

It's Stan's idea. i think something about being able to set the ratio on it for 1:1 makes it suitable for elec use... not 100% sure about the whys and hows of it, but Stan says it works great.

I wanted a powerjazz but decided on the jive since the actro 32-4 would not draw more than 75 amps on 12s,( i was told by the joker guys) and since it's a newer design more specifically for heli use it came highly recommended. It didn't help to see some guys experiencing thermal problems etc on the higher amp motors but at least i have the one w/ latest software so we'll have to wait and see. Come to think of it, it would probably a good idea to run a seperate v/reg w/lipo till it's proven.
Re the tail kicking ,obviously i don't know yet what will happen but i did notice on the jive program card there is a couple of settings for the governor from smooth to more agessive which they reckon will enable agood tail setup.
On paper at least it looks good.....

Curtis put a 1:1 ratio in the V3, put the magnet on the main gear. Set the throttle curve to 0 - 100 so it sees NO throttle and then 100% throttle, set the HS you want to run with the AUX2 channel and let her rip. If you want more or less HS, just adjust the end points in AUX2.
