Hi, im in the market for a new set of carbon blades for my T-rex 600 and was wondering if anyone tried the Tortion 600 blades. If so are they any good.

Has anyone try them or heard of them. I want to put an order in today and was wondering if they are worth the money.

Stiff, very stiff, fast, less bogging but unstable, simular to CY stickbangers.

Too unstable for my liking.

Just out of curiosity, MrMel - is your flying style more along the lines of smooth and flowing instead of chaotic? (I'm trying to get a feel for what you mean when you say 'too unstable for your liking' )

I know I was wondering what I'd like between the stickbanger vs. "normal" radix blades - I like my "normal" ones, but curiosity abounds...

I thought the stiffer the blade the more heavey and more stable it is.

What's a "401"? I know 411 means "assistance/info"... (sorry, couldn't resist)

You're correct that more weight on the same airfoil does increase stability, provided it's balanced. Inertia is like that.

As far as stiffness... It's a desirable quality as it transfers energy to the machine instead of just flexing the blade. But I'm not sure about how it affects stability.

Chaotic smooth Hard 3D is perhaps best way to explain
(in other words, both)

I fly Maniacs today, I fell in love with those at first try, sure they suck more power then the lighter blades, but Vbar that I run really like heavier blades, and they have the bite.

Difference between Stickbangers and regular CY is quite huge..both in how unstable (con) and how "unboggable" they are (pros).
