These are gohbee 30/50 upgrade aluminum blade grips. They are a perfect fit. All you have to do is add one shim that comes with the blade grips when you buy them. Ive got the tiger 50 and the spacing seems to be perfect with one shim. A buddy of mine has got a pantera 50 and one shim works well with it too. It seemed to be a little tighter than the tiger though, but after a little use he said they were working well. For you big block boys, u can still get the 14-/14+ pitch as well. .

Yes same as the Pantera with thrust bearings.
Go to gohbee.com and look at the Instruction manual.

I have the Gohbee aluminum grips on my Pantera. They were a direct fit and fly great.

I think...

I have been kicking around the idea of aluminum blade grips for a while now. Those are nice, but I still want to make my own and the pics give plenty of ideas to borrow from.

As long as we are mixing and matching components, try a Raptor 30/50 flybar with green paddles. I have that setup on my Tiger. They slip right in and speed things up without making the heli twitchy.

On the subject of blade grips

Any one have any ideas for alternate tail grips preferably Aluminum and maintaining the bearing layout?

Would like to be able to use aftermarket blades without the risk of over tightening and fracturing the grips.

Thanks

Or better yet keep the advantages of the 4mm flybar and just drill out a set of R50 paddles to fit. Mic the Pantera flybar find a drill bit that will still leave you room to make new threads. I was worried about drilling the holes straight but already having a hole to go by unless you are too rough it just falls straight in the 3mm hole that is already there.

T-rex 600E tail assembly 14.99. It comes already assembled bearings hub grips everything. All you have to do is shorten the ball on the grips so that the pitch slider links fit correctly. Take a dremel and take off the extra material. Make it even with the base of the tail blade grip. I wish I had a way to post pics I am just not that good with computers.

Thanks for sharing. I am switching to the Gohbee alum grips for one of my Panteras. The stock grips are getting loose around the bearing seats and need replacing anyhow.

At $45, these look really nice.

I just received them and got them installed on the Pantera. All I can say is SWEET!!! The black/aluminum finish is a perfect match for the Pantera. I simply can't wait to get it in the air. I didn't use any spacer as the Radix blades fit perfectly.

jbrown228. These grips restored the head to like new condition and the Pantera flew great!!!

My stock grips developed some wear in the outer bearing seats to the point my main blades were noticably drooping at a standstill so any replacement would have helped.

I don't suspect these aluminum grips will wear out anytime soon but only time will tell.

SWE blades and the grips

Hey All, just to let you know,if you do this mod, that the SWE blades will need to be ground down a bit on the brass spacer. They extend to far out of the blade to lock the blade solid in the grip, it wants to rotate on the insert. 2 min with a dremel and your golden!

A Must if you're after Peformance!

All,
After scolye stopped at the booth Friday at IRCHA and I saw these grips...well a set HAD TO BE MINE!

Actually, Machinehead01 had already located David at Gohbee...so he walked with me to get the right parts.

I put these grips on the Pantera Sunday morning...Saturday was setup for night-flight. (A complete success and I'm hooked!)

All I can say is...a nice tip/mod to take it to the next level.

My original grips were in excellent shape (I thick CA my bearings in to get around the wobble/wear)...so I new the "Bling factor" would at least satisfy me!

The disc is much more precise and a bit quicker on cyclic inputs...noticed this on roll/flip rates!

Truly a must have!!!

it really tied the room together
