| Sure enough. Was doing some gear maintenance on my Rappy 3D and SE, and what do ya know.
Even with my pin flat spot grind, some were walking out, mainly the tail takeoff pinion. Others were ok, but those set screws were getting loose as well. Will do the RED locktite and heatshrink retainer mod now also. The flat spot worked well as well, probably saved one or two from fully...I dont want to think about it! LOL!
so leaving these pins in.
So, just a reminder, Watch those Pins! Check them all. Its not just the tail gear pin, check the other two up front as well. If I wasn't doing other checks...
