I flew my new Spectra today however when I get to about half a tank I have a lot of fuel foaming. I mounted the tank under the tray as illustrated with the two pieces of sticky tape. I got home tonight and put foam under the tank instead so I will see how that works tomorrow. Anyone else have this issue?

Also the one way check vent valve seems to not be venting properly. Should I just toss the dam thing and do without it?

How in the world do you know you have foaming? I have yet to see my tank in flight, it's completely hidden.

I would also dump the valve on the vent line, run the vent like every other gasser, make a loop in the line and just run it straight out.

Initial flights were flown without the canopy installed. I also had an issue with air leaking around the carb due to the carbon fiber plate included with the kit. I already tossed the one way valve lol.

That carbon plate also seems like a horrible idea. I didn't use it.

Hi ccm15

Foaming fuel is caused by high frequent vibrations
(high rpm running things)
assuming your engien is ok, make sure that the fan
is balanced and that it`s dail indicated.
you can allso check your clutch and clutchbell for
balance.
Most likely it`s the fan, balance and dial indication
