Okay. Heres the set up. Rappy 50 hyper engine, 1 and 1/2 clicks out on the needle, plenty of smoke, engine seems cool on the back plate. The heli runs awesome until it just empties the main fuel tank, then the engine drops a little on the rpm's.(not much) I can hear the difference. When the header tank runs out it starts spinning much faster.(normal, i know) Should the rpm drop a little after the main tank empties?
Thanks
Brad

Mine does the same thing so I just use it as a warning to land before I have to auto.

Take offs are Optional, Landings are Mandatory

My OS 37 does this. As soon as it hit the header I would loose enough RPMs that I try to stay off the header. Performance is very poor on the header. I have 2 other OS engines that go though the header with no notable change in performance. Why...

Sounds like you are going rich once the main tank is empty.
This is usually due to the header being mounted above the carb.
Once the fuel resistance pulling from the main is gone, gravity + your muffler pressure is enough to make the engine richen out.

Its perfectly normal. The R30 that I had does it, so does the R50. In all honesty, it really is time to land or shoot that last auto when you get into the header tank.
