I keep that pin in with heat shrink tubing and as mentioned an inspection hole drilled into the case so you can keep an eye on that pin

well I bought the mavikk tail case yesterday at my local hobby shop for 59.00. I also had to buy the Idler pulley and gear. I like the idea of being able to inspect that pin before flight.

This time I will not forget to put the set screw in with locktite, and ca the exposed tips ofthe pin.. just a dot..

well the mavirkk tail case is working fine.. glued the pin in... several flights on it with no problems.. its weird though.. in my mind as I fly i expect the tail to go out of control.. hopefully no longer an issue..

what about a good tail grip? Will the align 600 tail grips work or?
right now I'm still using the black plastic ..eventually would like to get metal..
