Hi
just got my 700n on friday and finished the build now but in the kit my long pitch links were missing and i am also missing about 4-5 plastic links

well its stopped me flying for this weekend and i will contact the distributor on monday to get my parts just wondering if any one else has had parts missing?

BTW not bashing the 700n its an awesome machine and the build was really easy the easiest so far even over the 3 600n's iv had. just enquiring thats all im sure the problem will get resolved and just an isolated incident
Cheers Adam

They pump stuff out at an amazing rate some things get missed. My Trex 500 main blade grip screw one of them had no threads, was the right length and everything. I was trying to thread it in for a couple minutes didn't understand why the nylon nut wouldn't go on. lol @ HeliSmith

My source hooked me up right away I am sure yours will too.

Long Pitch Links? As far as I am aware all pitch links are the same apart from the A arm link! I also had spares in my kit, which I picked up Friday!

Mine were pre assembled on to the arms. Same size as the swashplate balls.

The mixing arms use M3 x 3.5, which are smaller! Sorry forgot about that. But again were pre assembled onto the arms.

I had no issues with my kit, in fact.. I had extra parts. 1 extra servo linkage rod, and 2 fuel filters

the spare linkage rod will be for the carbsmart you will probably find if you not using one.

I had spare parts too.. I figured the extra link was for a carbsmart, which I will be moving over from my other heli. A couple of parts I thought were missing, but then found them already loosely installed (the rubber canopy stand sleeves).

The extra pushrod will not work for the carbsmart, it is no way long enough!!

It needs to be the same size as the throttle servo pushrod.

Well in no way will fit it on mine, using an OS91 !!

It would need to be 1 - 2 cm longer!!

That's why I love my thread making tool. No more of that stuff ever.

Get one guys it's like 20 bucks for the thread maker tool then you just buy the rod at your LHS. Pay for itself quickly if you tinker as much as I do.

it defo fits on mine and it is a lot shorter than the throttle one fyi.

only thing i can think of is used one of the wrong rods somewhere else.

definitely didn't use a wrong rod somewhere else !!!!

It will fit on the carb smart but not with true 90 degree linkages if you want the ball links securely fitted to the rod!

If it comes off in flight no big deal your engine just could go rich or lean. Just prefer correct and safe linkages. 1 cm longer and it would have been perfect!
