| I installed and setup the Align governor (RCE-G600) according to these instructions: http://www.helifreak.com/showthread.php?t=49362 ( post #6, by 'stockracing' ) This enables turning on and off the governor with the AUX switch, and different headspeeds in all three flight modes.
What does not make sense to me though, is engine speed (head speed) table in the Align manual. Why is the engine speed vs ATV% different for different transmitters? What I would like to know is the general formula to calculate engine speed from ATV%. It should be a linear function, should it not?
The governor was included with the Trex 700 kit, and I was going to use 1700, 1850, and 1950 for headspeeds, corresponding to 13940, 15170 and 15990 engine RPMs...
