Hey all---this is a chance to get all the local flyers together during the dog days of summer. No pilot fee, lots of space, good group of heli pilots...so come on down.

Hey Jon---it will be fun. We got much of a shade structure built this weekend and are looking forward to our monthly "crew" day joined by as many locals as can come on down. Great way to spend a summer day! See you there. Tom

I've got a 10x10 portable canopy that I can bring as well if shade is limited - gotta keep the drinks out of the sun! Is this beign held at the new RCHover field? I was there last summer I think, only about an hour from my house.

If weather holds up, we might scoot over from Flying Giants Huckfest at the Woodstock, CT on Fri-Sun.

Does anybody have a GPS cordinates or address to punch into the GPS?

Hey, that would be great. We'll have a good crew there and it's a good chance to kick back for the day and enjoy heli-only time. Can't give coordinates but it's across the street from 408 Elm St. Mansfield, MA, 02755. Hope to see you there. Tom

This google maps link may have what you need in it. Google Map to NEHeliCrew

What a great turnout yesterday for our open house/cookout. There were 80 people there as I did a quick count at the field and a terrific group of pilots. Thanks to everyone who came from Long Island, New Jersey, CT, Boston and other parts of MA, and NH. And special thanks to Frank Columbia, Justin Chi's family, and Rick Grey...great show. Put the Phenomenon on your list of fall events and we'll look to see you then! The Phenomenon

It was a funday at the open house. There were a lot more pilots than I had expected. It was easier for us as we were in the neiboring town for the Huckfest (airplane term for smackdown) on Fri, Sat.

I got to see the operation of RCHover.

Note to self:
Don't go in there unless you have a determination of steel and you have bulletproof self control.

hi

since i ran, organized and held the event, i considered it an open house ,since it was free to fly and all the food was only a dollar(only to recoupe what money was spent) there fore it was not considered a funfly
