I'm putting together a Vibe 50.. still considering what sort of servo should i use.. JR8717 is not available yet in Australia, i was offered to get futaba BLS 451 digital brushless servo for cyclic.. are they any good?

They are perfect. I have it on the cyclics in my V bared Logo 500.

But of course some cheaper servos as the 9451/2 will do their job as well.

If you like to be technically up to date and money is no issue the BLS are the way to go.

Thanks Michael.. I believe a V-bar mikado 500 run under heavier load on the servo compare to conventional flybar heli.. since it uses more direct link (eg. without mixing levers)..

Great servo thats what I have on mine. They are fast and reliable. Most of the the guys that I fly with have been using these since they came out and we have had no issues with them.

I just bought 3 futaba bls351 servos for the cyclic of a vibe 90 and was wondering how they compare to the ds8717.

8718 is only available in the states, you can get the same servo under a diffrant number 8915, i have them both they are the same
