JR Heli Vibe - Airskipper - Sylphide - Venture > Vibe 50 fan hub removal, any tricks?

I wanted to remove the fan hub from my Redline last night and could not, it seems as if the two collets are wedged into the hub and it won't even budge. Any suggestions?

Oil them before you put them in

Try a MinAir fan puller or something like it.

Both JR and MA make them, I can't seem to find the JR fan puller.

I didn't claim to be the originator of the idea, just passing it on

BTW, Robert, I'll be needing to borrow yours so I can change the bearings in the hyper in my Vibe!

Did you try the oven? I like to use a hammer.

A hammer would definitely solve the problem.

Now seriously... I bearing pusher would do the trick. The claws hold on the hub and the center threaded rod goes on the crankshaft. Two or 3 turns should be enough to get that thing out of there.

what about faucet handle puller from a hardware store? same idea as the puller you're talking about. by the way barracuda,
i don't think oil would've helped get it off the crank.
