What is the normal Fly around Head Speed for this bird on your FM 1? Say for mild roll loop aerobatics... Pitch was -5/5/10
Engine sounds like it bogs when going full collective...

Has anyone ever had their Flybar paddles MOVE in flight,,,and If so....Do you glue them or something ?

I landed today after a failed loop...Head speed dove off and caught it about 5 ft off...Landed and spooled it down ,,one of my flybar paddles was turned almost 90 degrees....That was fun

I would say 1850 if you are comfortable with it. That should be more then enough! If you dont like it there you can back it down to say 1750-1800. If the paddles are plastic then most people use a drop of CA on the threads before you thread the paddles on. I normally use the green locktite that works well also it dosnt set up fast like the CA does

fly it like u stole it

Hi Bill around 1800 is just fine. I run almost the same setup as you. just remember to manage your collective!!! this is very important. if you put full collective and cyclic in at the same time you will be pulling at least 15 deg on one blade. when you do your loop first remember speed saves helis! start at the bottom by adding +collective to climb but then back off as you climb. by the time you are vertical you should be below 1\2 stick, at the top you should be near 1\4 stick or below. back to about 1\2 stick on the down vertical and just a little more + at the bottom to finish if needed. if you add to much collective with you cyclic you will load the disk and slow the head way down. whenever you hear the head load down you just need to reduce the collective to maintain head speed . If you are lacking the power it should have you may want to check you mixture. if it is to rich it will also bog under high loads. hope this helps Tom

Thanks Tom for the input... I believe my haed speed is off that 17-18 mark...

I do notice that in FFF if you throw collective and nose down engine bogs some,,,

Appreciate the input and will do a little tinkering
