| After being able to perform the forward and backward flips proficiently, I decide to go for inverted hovering. I can do it in the simulator with no problem at all. In reality, however, it is a different story. After flipping it halfway, the heli is well inverted but starts to descend. Unfortunately, my reflex does not tell my left hand to pull the collective stick, and I just see the heli gets lower and crash. After all, I can enjoy just a few seconds flying inverted.
It costs me a feathering spindle, tail boom and the TT carbon blade. I'd better stay with wooden blades next time and prepare for another crash.
I am quite discouraged by the mishap as I am able to do it in the sim, but do not know why my reflex action is not engaged in reality. It seems I still learn in a hard way even with the help of the simulator. Do you guys also have this kind of problem in the learning process?
