Has anyone used Mavrikk 600mm wood Blades? Are they as good as the TT woodies?

im on my second set and love them, have a back up pair as well.

Had one set of TT blades that I used for about 3 sessions. Blade covering kept ripping and I couldnt get them to track at all. I'll never be using TT's again.

I have found the plastic covering on TT blades has not been shrunk. I take my heat gun and shrink the film down tight. The blades fly better and last much longer. You must be careful though, the film is not as forgiving as airplane covering, keep the gun moving!

I had the same problem with the plastic on the TT woods, they fly fine without it.

wood blades are for when you're tipping it over, and testing new helis, otherwise use carbon. Remember, this is what's keeping the heli in the air. It's like putting bad tires on your car. Your car can only go, turn, and stop if the tires have traction. Now substitute blades in my analogy.

If you do need wood 600/620, the BEST I've ever used were these:

wood is grown, so very difficult to match, however these woodies have been better matched for me than the cheap carbons I've tried! Now THOSE are good blades! Freakin' good price, too.
