I'm looking for a good all around ESC that I can drop in a protos. I stumbled upon this esc and found that it was decently priced and was wondering if this would do the trick? Have in mind that I may be getting a scoprion motor in the future as well. Should I give this one a try, or should I go for the trusty 60amp align esc? I'm really just looking to save a bit of money but I definately don't want to cut any corners.

I got this ESC and I have more than 100 flights on it, with my Gazaur Mars and a Scorpion -6 motor. Never had any ploblems at all!
Never been hot and I often fly my packs back to back!
I allways run a flat throttle curve (90-100%)

But it doesn have soft start or gorvenor.!

I dont know your heli, but if 55amps is enough, then it really good for the money!

SAme as Thomas really. I have one in a trex450 and it is very good. I don't know your heli either though.
