e-Electric General Discussion > 12 tooth motor pinions- sources needed!

Hi all,

Many of the E-conversions out there are based on using the e-flite 46 brushless outrunner and a 12 tooth pinion. This works really well on 30 size Hirobo helicopters. Trouble is- Century have stopped making 12 tooth pinions. Any suggestions for alternative sources would be greatly appreciated.

As well as having 12 teeth, the module size is 1.0 mm and the motor shaft diameter is 5 mm or 6 mm

Thanks!

Min Air has 12T mod 1 pinions and they make a threaded adaptor for the pinion, to mate it to a motor shaft either 5mm or 6mm.
